OPEN POSITIONS:


Senior Designer with a focus on Interior Architecture

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong creative portfolio

  • 8 to 9 years of experience with a hospitality focused Interior design firm for both

    new construction and renovations for hotel design

  • Must have a good working knowledge of hotel brands and functional

    requirements for full-service hotels

  • The ability to work in a team environment and produce creative designs which

    respond to client and project goals for full service, boutique, or branded hotels

  • Inherently detailed in the approach to all aspects of the design process and

    documentation

  • The creative ability to define interior architectural styles, develop custom millwork

    and specialty features that reinforce and define the character of the project

  • The ability to understand a construction budget that is appropriate to the project’s

    quality level for guestrooms and public areas

  • An understanding of appropriate sources for the end use and budget

  • An understanding of MEP systems and how to successfully integrate those into

    the end design product. The ability to collaborate with the Architects and

    Engineers to ensure the ID Drawings/design is fully coordinated with other

    disciplines

  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills to organize the work day and stay

    on task with personal and project deadlines. Skills to mentor and utilize less

    experienced designers on project assignments

  • Experience processing submittals, shop drawings, and RFI’s

  • Experience in the field during construction for past projects

  • Experience utilizing Revit (primary) and AutoCAD (secondary) in an office

    setting for design and documentation

  • Experience transitioning from an AutoCAD platform to a Revit platform, and

    working with senior staff to establish office standards and protocols for Revit.

  • Experience in defining, organizing, and managing the creation of drawings

    packages with extensive custom detailing

  • Digital presentation skills utilizing PPT and Photoshop

  • A team player in all aspects.
